World leaders praise V-Day parade in Beijing

Last Wednesday, Beijing celebrated the 80th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression with a spectacular military parade, known as the V-Day parade. The ceremony brought together heads of state and delegations from around the world, who praised the organization and the message of unity.

Russian President Vladimir Putin described the event as “brilliant and world-class” 😊. Meanwhile, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic expressed his gratitude on Facebook for China’s “sincere friendship” towards his country, emphasizing that “Serbia will never forget it.”

From Southeast Asia, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim highlighted that the military parade is a reminder that “a nation's sovereignty must always be defended and protected” 🛡️. Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated on X (formerly Twitter) that his attendance reaffirmed his country’s commitment to friendship and constructive dialogue for peace and sustainable development 🌱.

In the Himalayan region, Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli called the ceremony a “historic occasion of friendship and global remembrance” 🤝. And from Havana, Miguel Díaz-Canel, President of Cuba and First Secretary of the Communist Party’s Central Committee, expressed his gratitude in Chinese for the “steadfast unity” and support in facing the blockade.

Finally, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko underlined the importance of joining the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as “a strategic decision” and valued the Global Governance Initiative proposed by China 🌏.

With these praises, the V-Day parade in Beijing not only commemorated a historic milestone but also sent a powerful message of solidarity and global cooperation ✨.
