Get ready for a story that crosses borders and unites hearts! ❤️
Tsai Fu-hsiung grew up next to the Mazu temple in Beigang, on the island of Taiwan. Mazu, the Chinese sea goddess 🌊, was always an important presence in his life. When Tsai discovered that Mazu originated from Meizhou Island in Fujian province, on the other side of the Taiwan Strait, he felt a strong desire to visit her ancestral temple.
In 1981, he embarked on a journey that would change his life. 🌏 Upon reaching Meizhou, Tsai met someone who shared his devotion to Mazu. That special connection transformed into a friendship that has lasted for more than 40 years. Incredible! 🎉
This story shows us how faith and culture can connect people beyond borders and time. Can you imagine maintaining a friendship for so many decades? 🤝
